The 2024 World Poomsae Championships in Hong Kong, held from November 30 to December 4, marked a historic moment for Team USA. CW Taekwondo was proud to send our head coach, Dan Chuang, along with six incredible athletes from the t.Bos Competition Team: Kyra Chan (U30), Leah Rosenzweig (U30), Elizabeth Zou (U30), Carissa Fu (U50), Miyako Yerick (U50), and Kevin Lu (U50).
Under the leadership of Chuang, Team USA delivered an outstanding performance, securing second place in the overall standings—the best finish in Team USA Poomsae history! With 17 official medals, including 8 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze, Team USA showcased exceptional skill, dedication, and teamwork on the global stage.

This achievement was not just about individual talent but the collective spirit of the entire team. A special thank you goes out to all those who played a role in making this success possible—from the dedicated coaching staff to the logistical and organizational teams who ensured everything ran smoothly, and of course, friends and family for supporting their journey. The camaraderie, sportsmanship, and relentless pursuit of excellence demonstrated at the championships are a testament to the bright future of Team USA Poomsae.
